Ingredients - Serves 4
- Idli - 6 to 8 nos
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tsp (or you can use idli podi)
- Cooking spray - or use 1 tbsp of oil
- Cut the idlis into desired shape and spread it on the baking tray
- Sprinkle chilli powder
- Spray cooking oil over it and toss them well
- Bake it for 25 minutes at 350 C or until it get nicely roasted
- Serve hot
Tips - You can make this in regular non-stick or iron skillet - heat the skillet with 1 tbsp of oil add idli pieces and chilli powder close the lid fry it for every 5 minutes until you get a nice golden brown colour

- Fermented idli batter has pro-biotic bacteria, which is not destroyed by the acids in the stomach
- Pro-biotic bacteria is known to improve colon health
