- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Dry chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 2 tsp
- Oil for deep frying
- Water to mix
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a big bowl mix bengal gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, asafoetida and salt
- Add melted butter and mix well
- Add water little by little to get a nice dough (not to be made very hard or very soft)
- Place ribbon pakoda mold inside the snack maker and stuff with the prepared dough
- Pour oil in a deep frying pan and allow it to heat
- Squeeze the dough in a circular motion over the hot oil, let it cook until the bubbles stop
