Tofu paratha is soft Indian flat bread - Tofu, Indian spices and herbs in wheat flour
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Wheat flour / atta flour - 1 1/2 cups (extra flour for dusting)
- Grated tofu - 1 cup
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Crushed dry methi - 2 tbsp
- Oil / ghee - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- In a big bowl mix atta, grated tofu, chilli powder, dry methi and salt
- Sprinkle water little by little to make a soft dough
- Cover the dough and rest for 15 minutes

- Take a lemon size portion of dough
- Place it on the rolling board and dust them with dry flour and roll into circular shape
- Heat the tawa and place the paratha in it
- Cook both sides until it gets nice brown spots
- Apply ghee or oil on both sides
- Serve hot with raita
- Tofu is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium.
- Tofu is rich in Protein, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Calcium
- Per paratha = 175 calories approximately

I made it a few times when I was there and Bala had liked it, but I forgot if anything else(seasoning spices) was used with avacado for the filling. Thanks in advance.
