Ingredients - Serves 4
- Brioche rolls - 4 (or white bread slices - 8)
- Blue berries - 1/2 cup (or any fruits)
- Custard powder - 2 tblsp
- Milk - 1 cup
- Honey - 1 tbsp
- Powdered sugar to sprinkle
- Butter - 1 tblsp (or oil)
- Mix 2 tblsp of custard powder in 1/4 cup of room temperature milk (without any lumps)
- In a heavy bottomed pan, heat the remaining milk and bring it to boil
- Now add custard powder mixture and mix well until milk thickens up to medium consistency (not too thick or too thin )
- Slit the brioche rolls on one side for stuffing
- Stuff with blue berries & close it
- Dip the rolls in the custard
- Heat tava with butter and place the dipped rolls
- Toast the rolls till slight golden brown on both sides
- Remove from the tava and sprinkle some powdered sugar
- Drizzle honey on top before serving
- Blueberry contains anti-oxidants, vitamin C and E, as well as heart-healthy fibers
- Per serving = 250 calories approximately
Ohhh!! Yummy...I love french toast and since we don;t use too much eggs, I always used to wonder how to make it. Can i just make it a regular french toast too, without any stuffing?

Thanks Sandhya... Yes, you can make regular french toast without any fruits just drizzle some honey or maple syrup on top!!
